How l do I know what size grille to order?
We recommend removing your existing vent cover and measuring the height and width of the duct. Ducts are cut by hand on site and can be irregular. If you measure a fractional height or width, please round to the nearest whole number to order.
For example: you measure a 3-7/8" x 12-1/4" duct, round to the next even whole number, 4" x 12." Order a 4x12 vent cover in either style and your new decorative grille will have a total measurement of 6" x 14" to allow room for installation and fully cover the duct. Painting behind the grille with a black spray paint will create and clean and seamless look.
Depending on the size, your decorative vent cover will arrive with 4-8 pre-drilled screw holes for installation along with hardware and screw head caps to match the finish.

Please note that exterior measurements can vary slightly from grille to grille depending on the age of our silicone mold used and the nature of the resin during the curing process. Incremental shrinkage is not typically anything to worry about when replacing a standard vent cover; however, if you are using the grille in a tight space close to molding or in a custom application like cabinetry, please email us in advance and we can help.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Beaux-Arts Classic Products strives to make and ship your order within a 3-4 week timeframe. Depending on the number of grilles ordered and production schedules at our shop, completion timeframes may vary. Please bear in mind that we do not keep stock of any vent covers or recessed lighting medallions, but make each item when you order it. We're a small staff of two, but we guarantee you'll receive an order made with care and attention to detail.

Do you accept cancellations?
Yes. Order cancellations will be considered by contacting us within 24-48hrs of placing the order. Please send an email request to orders@beaux-artsclassicproducts.com.
Can I return my order?
Due to the custom nature of our products and manufacturing process, we limit return requests to 3 days after your grille is delivered based on UPS tracking information. Within this timeframe, please email us for a return authorization and instructions. Only grilles in uninstalled condition will be considered for return. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and there is a 25% restocking fee assessed to all returns unless you would like to place another order. If a product is returned damaged, it will carry an additional 20% damage fee. We recommend taking your return to be packaged at UPS or FedEx.

Why do you manufacture your products from resin?
We use exterior grade resin and a heat tempering process to capture the fine details of our 3D designs without the weight and maintenance of other materials used in the industry like metals and wood.
Resin is maintenance free - no need to refinish and it is resistant to mold growth making it appropriate for use in damp locations like bathrooms and exterior projects.
What finish should I select for my grille?
Consider the hardware in your room. If you have brass knobs or lighting, consider our Antique Brass or Umber Gold finish. Our black finish is an great choice for exterior applications and can compliment iron work inside your home as well. We offer 14 finish options including a gray primer that is suitable for painting. All of our finishes with the exception of gray primer are completed with a seal coat for durability.
Are there other applications for Beaux-Arts grilles?
YES
Our grilles can be used as inserts for radiator cabinets, kitchen and media center cabinets, speaker covers, wall decor and more.
