Return Air Filter Grilles
The Best Return Air Filter Grille
The best return air filter grille in the market today by Beaux-Arts Classic Products. A filter grille is a return air grille that can open and close so that the filter housed behind it can be changed when dirty. Filter grilles were developed so that the return ducts leading back to the HVAC air handler won’t collect dust and need to be cleaned every few years. Duct cleaning is expensive, but essential to good air quaility and reducing common ailments due to dust build up in your HVAC system. The best way to control dust in return ducts is to replace your regular return air grille with a filter grille.  A good duct cleaning service will charge $400 t0 $800 for a thorough cleaning  for a typical home. Typically ducts need to be cleaned every two to three years. So the cost to convert from a regular return air grille to a Beaux-Arts’ decorative return air grilles can be recovered in one year.  You will probably also notice health improvements in the first year.

Beaux-Arts Classic Products is very proud of our return air filter grille.  The most recent improvement we made is the all assembled picture frame molding which fits around the True Air metal door assembly. This makes for easy and quick installation and is receiving rave reviews from our clients. The picture frame moulding is painted in the same finish as the decorative grille which is attached to the metal door assembly.  Shown below is our Louis XIV style decorative grille attached to the metal door assembly in our Pewter finish and the pre-finished pewter picture frame moulding. Once the grille and door assembly is in place in the return grille plenum and anchored by four screws, then place the picture frame molding overtop. The notch in the back of the picture frame moulding actually covers the hard metal edge of the filter grille door assembly.
At Beaux-Arts Classic Products we realize that our filter grilles must be as visually appealing as they are functional, so we also provide two pieces of black fiberglass mesh  screen, which turns a blue, pink or white filter black. Although we ship two pices of black mesh, use only one piece at a time and keep the other piece in the utility closet with your extra filters for the next filter change. The dirty black mesh screen can be easily cleaned with water and put away for next time. At Beaux-Arts we try to think of everything since we know how bad it would be to see a pink, blue or white filter show through behind our beautiful grilles. Notice how we cover the heads of the small bolts we use with to attach the decorative grille to the metal door assembly with tabs.
