“Wanted to let you know that the vent covers arrived just a few minutes ago. I hesitate calling them ‘vent covers’ because they certainly are far more than that! I am thrilled with them, I knew they would be wonderful but they are so much more than what I expected. I can’t wait to get these up so the bragging rights can begin!” C Bracken
“Have nothing in your house you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” William Morris
Find Your Perfect Decorative Grille
Beaux-Arts Classic Products is proud to offer the most attractive and functional decorative grilles available in the marketplace. These decorative grilles can be used as return air grilles, return air filter grilles, supply vents, vent covers, speaker covers, radiator covers, foundation vent covers, crawl space grilles, bathroom exhaust fans and more. Each grille is specifically designed for wall and ceiling installation, and should not be used as floor grilles. We cast our products using an industrial quality urethane resin which faithfully reproduces the hand carving details of the originals. Resin is dimensionally stable. It won’t rot, rust, corrode or grow mold. Urethane resin decorative grilles are also virtually noise free as opposed to the stamped metal louvered vent covers commonly used in HVAC forced air systems.
Masterfully Reproduced from 19th Century Designs
Our Arts and Crafts Decorative grilles were originally made in New York State in approximately 1865-1922. They are the most outstanding return air grilles ever made in the USA. Andrew Carnegie placed them in most of the Carnegie Libraries from 1883 to 1929. We have been manufacturing these historical reproduction supply vents in the USA since 2006, using the highest quality urethane resin which is strong, dimensionally stable and heat resistant and captures the exact details of the originals. These grilles can be used for historic preservation since they meet U.S. Government’s General Services Administration Code #1501003S Standards for Historic Preservation Guidelines. The decorative grilles are intended for forced air heating and air conditioning systems as either return air grilles or supply vents. Replace noisy HVAC louvered vents with our urethane resin grilles since they won’t make noise. Resin does not vibrate. Each grille is made from an exterior grade resin appropriate for exterior applications, such as foundation crawl space grilles, and can be used in wet or damp locations such as fan covers in bathrooms or near indoor swimming pools.

The Empire style paid tribute to the Greek Empire by adopting the highly stylized palm tree fronds or Palmette. This motif was first employed by Alexander the Great after he conquered Egypt in 332BC. The Egg and Dart molding we chose for the frame is symbolic of the “mechanics of victory” of the period. It also draws from the Roman Empire as well with the Roman arch. This architectural feature was not invented by the Romans but was utilized by them in building aqueducts, bridges and basilicas. The Empire style is a masculine, regimental style based on order and symmetry.
The delicate and refined design of our Neo-Classical Empire Style decorative grille features handsome 3-dimensional carvings of Greek and Roman ornament. The Empire period in France also equates to the Regency period in Great Britain and the Biedermeier style in Germany.
