Louis XIV Grilles, Radiator Covers
Custom Radiator Covers – Customer Images
Custom Radiator Covers
This custom radiator cover is a handsome design solution for a separate air conditioner and radiator.
This beautiful radiator cover was designed by Susan Kowitt Designs. It is a functional work of art. The design looks like wall panels. The architectural details combined with our Louis XIV Style 16″ x 16″ decorative grille is a winning combination. A timeless and elegant addition to the decor. Well done Susan and thank you for the before and after photos.
Before pictures. The radiator is black in this photo and disappears behind the Louis XIV decorative grille.
Custom Radiator Cover Details
Notice that the radiator grilles are set in the doors, so that they can be opened to change the settings on the ductless air conditioner. The doors are stile and rail construction and the grilles are set in flush so that they are on the same level as the doors. This is very attractive. There is a space cut out at the bottom of the radiator cover. When the radiator is in use, the cold air on the floor can be sucked into the radiator box, as the hot air rises and escapes through the Louis XIV decorative grilles. The molding is very attractive the way they created three pilasters on the ends and in the middle. The pilasters are set on plinth blocks which are supported by a pedestal made of base molding. The top is a very attractive routed edge.
Our French Style Louis XIV Decorative Radiator Grilles are perfect for radiator covers.
They are dimensionally stable. We post cure the resin to withstand even the hottest radiator.
